演講摘要:

This presentation examines the role of human information behaviour within environments increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence (AI). By focusing on how individuals seek, evaluate, and utilise information in the context of AI-driven tools, this talk aims to understand the evolving relationship between humans and AI tools. It will discuss cognitive subjectivity, characterizing how users’ perceptions of AI agents affect their evaluation of these systems, and explore the role of social subjectivity and human oversight in AI-driven information environments. The presentation concludes by raising the question of how to balance objective metrics, such as accuracy and speed, with subjective user experiences, which encompass perceptions of usefulness, trust and ethical considerations, when evaluating and governing AI systems.
